MY STORY
Simon Vay is a singer-songwriter from Antwerp, driven by the waves and the warm sounds of acoustic indie folk. With over 15 years of stage experience and a deep connection to nature, Simon channels his love for the ocean into music that comes to life both solo and with his band. His distinctive voice and captivating lyrics transport listeners to a place where the coast and music meet, capturing the easygoing vibe of coastal life.
In 2021, Simon made a strong impression by finishing second in The Voice van Vlaanderen, which led to airplay for his original songs like Space Engineer and Glow on national radio. His debut EP, produced by Steven Vegauwen, showcases his versatility, with contributions from Tom Van Stiphout and Bert Gielen enhancing his sound.
Whether through intimate solo performances or energetic festival sets, Simon Vay consistently creates a warm, relaxed atmosphere that feels like a refreshing sea breeze. He is already looking forward to crafting new songs for his next album, although a release date is yet to be announced.
